Remember the FanGum Photo Contest during the winter? Lots of people sent in their own creatively staged gum photos. Paul Shaffer picked the winning entry, which was submitted by Mark Gentle.
That's a Lockheed A-12 spy plane from the '60s, at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama.
Mark's prize: he has the honor of seeing his own gum included in a CelebriGum entry.

ReplyDeleteTMI Department: the gum, which Mark had kept frozen since its star turn on the A-12, arrived disturbingly juicy. Mark didn't seem to have chewed it very much, which is understandable since it was such a large wad. I washed it and blotted it dry as best I could, but it was still a bit damp when I put it on the ledge, hence the sticky spot.
DeleteMark's gum was a NATURAL. It really held it's own against the seasoned Late Show gum and even (dare I say it) stole the spotlight in a couple of the shots. Excellent entry, Mr. Young.
