Every afternoon I stand by a second floor window in the Ed Sullivan Theater and take mediocre photos of guests as they enter and leave the Late Show with David Letterman. In the foreground of each shot is a wad of old gum I noticed on the window ledge. There may be better paparazzi photos on the internet, but this is the only place you'll find the juxtaposition of celebrities and hardened gum. Enjoy!
FYI: the phrase this week, thanks to the Carnival Cruise story, is "urine-soaked carpet."
By the way, I stole this hair off a Die Hard poster, but I think it was 2 or 3. I did like how the hairline apparently melds perfectly with the line of the gum, so it actually looks like you see hair growing out of the gum.
It would be hard, though, to overestimate how beloved Pearl Jam is in Seattle, and how closely the band and the city are associated. Nirvana formed in Aberdeen, and Kurt Cobain didn't move to Seattle until the last year of his life. Heart was a Seattle band, but it broke through initially in clubs in Canada.
If one of the bumps turns dark brown or black, tell your doctor so she can make sure it's not skin cancer. In most cases, you won't need treatment design a shirt for cherry hemangiomas unless they're irritated or bleeding.
