… it wasn't raining that day.
You may have psychological issues requiring treatment.
Every afternoon I stand by a second floor window in the Ed Sullivan Theater and take mediocre photos of guests as they enter and leave the Late Show with David Letterman. In the foreground of each shot is a wad of old gum I noticed on the window ledge. There may be better paparazzi photos on the internet, but this is the only place you'll find the juxtaposition of celebrities and hardened gum. Enjoy!
He probably heard Paul playing "It's Raining Men" and took it too literally.
ReplyDeleteThat is bizarre. I think he's using a foil-impregnated umbrella to shield his brain from alien scanners.
ReplyDeleteYou've both proved my point. Two possible psychological issues right there.
ReplyDeleteI think he's aware of Celebrigum and didn't want to be photographed from above, his hair is thinning a little bit on the top.
ReplyDeleteThat's a reasonable theory. Maybe he's entirely sane, then.
DeleteOne time I drove past his house and he was having his air ducts cleaned. So, he's very much insane.
DeleteGood God, you don't think he's turning into Michael Jackson do you? He had the umbrella thing going on towards the end there.
ReplyDeleteIs there any solid proof he's NOT Michael Jackson?
DeleteWell, the "Dr." is from Texas, sort of the South, where the ladies do/did like to use parasols to shield them from the damaging rays of the sun. Perhaps he forgot the sunscreen and couldn't take any chances. One can never be too careful, right?

Don't know about the mental stability, but are his arms broken? Why does he need a guy to walk behind him with the umbrella? Can't he hold the darn thing himself?
ReplyDeleteHey Steve can we get Dave to show these photos and ask the Doctor himself the next time he's on the show?
ReplyDeleteYeah, he needed the umbrella to provide shade. Heck it was 90 degrees that day, which, by the way (everybody say it with me), is exactly 90 degrees more than Dr. Phil has... Hi-Yoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
